{"id":81,"date":"2021-12-01T10:58:16","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T10:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/intranethost\/intranet\/?page_id=81"},"modified":"2021-12-01T10:58:16","modified_gmt":"2021-12-01T10:58:16","slug":"student-printing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/intranet.thomasmills.suffolk.sch.uk\/intranet\/student-printing\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Printing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<strong> for Student Printing<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All student printing in IT rooms will have to be released by a staff member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will have their own release queue (student-Print),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can only be accessed in the library or in the Sixth form foyer&nbsp;<strong>(sixth form only)<\/strong>&nbsp;to allow<br>students to print documents out of supervised lessons. Sixth form pupils will be issued ID cards but<br>the lower school pupils will use 6 digit codes to access the devices(these will be emailed directly to<br>students). All students will have a weekly quota credit for printing whose value will be adjusted as<br>necessary. Students can also scan to their home directory and make copies using their quota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Setting up your RFID card (Sixth Form Only)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sixth form will be issued with ID cards to allow them to use the copier. They will need<br>to be registered but this is a simple operation which can be performed at any device using your<br>computer network logon. Present the card to the reader below the screen.<br>2. Agree to link the card to your account.<br>3. Log in using your computer username and password.<br>4. You will then get a message confirming the registration.<br>5. Log in by presenting your card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can always use your username and password to log in to the devices. It is important that the IT<br>department is notified immediately of the loss of any card so that unauthorised use is stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There may be a charge of \u00a35 for each replacement card to cover administrative costs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Instructions for Student Printing All student printing in IT rooms will have to be released by a staff member.
